There is so much joy when you know you are walking in God’s will. However, that joy quickly dissipates when we face the realities of life. It’s especially easy to get discouraged working in underserved areas. We lose sight of what is important find ourselves wavering from our calling. 

Using concepts from Henri Nouwen’s Life of the Beloved, Dr. Thomas will exposit Luke 3-4 contrasting the sweet voice of our Father with the dark lies of the enemy.  This timely message will encourage you to contemplate your motivation for serving in the hard places.

PROBLEM:
Discouragement and loss of vision is common in a busy and chaotic mission field. Sustaining our joy and staying on mission is critical to carrying out the work that we are called to.
