Maha Asham

Maha Asham is medical doctor and a global health leader with extensive technical, research, and scientific experience across academic institutions, UN organizations, private, and government sectors. She develops, delivers, and manages expert research and scientific technical support to 23 countries and more than 30 Sovereign American Indian Nations across the United States. Most recently, Dr. Asham is a senior advisor on covid-19 prevention and pandemic infodemic management, featured in the Johns Hopkins Alumni Pandemic Response. Dr. Asham is an adjunct Assistant Professor at University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health, and adjunct faculty at National University Community Health. She is an International Consultant in global public health equipping public health leaders in scientific research; developing public health solutions; adolescent risky behaviors; addiction prevention, and quality improvement of clinical services.
