Samuel Palpant

Dr. Sam Palpant is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine for the University of Washington School of Medicine and the Washington State University ESF College of Medicine. He did a fellowship in infectious diseases and has a degree in Tropical Medicine & Health from England. After completing his training he worked for 6 years at a mission hospital in rural western Kenya. He retired after 31 years as the Associate Director at an internal medicine residency program in Spokane, WA. He now teaches microbiology and infectious diseases to first and second year medical students. He has spoken multiple times at the Christian Medical & Dental Association continuing medical education conferences for medical missionaries in Thailand and Kenya. His special interests are parasitology and visual diagnosis of tropical diseases.
