Hillside Clinic is a non-profit primary care clinic established in 2000. Its mission is to provide health care and disease prevention to the people of Toledo in Southern Belize. Hillside sees over 10,000 patient visits annually. Care is delivered at our outpatient clinic site, during patient home visits, and by mobile clinic teams that service remote villages. Medical care is provided by licensed physicians, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, physical therapists, public health providers, dentists; visiting medical students; and staff from Belize and abroad. HHCI promotes healthy global attitudes by offering a culturally-rich educational program for medical volunteers and students that challenges them to better understand their role in international health care.
