Everyone is curious but no one dares to ask. Until now -- it's time we talk about periods.  Many people ask, “WHY NOT JUST GIVE THEM DISPOSABLES?” In reality, refuse systems don’t exist in The Majority World and disposable means thrown on the side of the road - environmentally unacceptable. Providing a temporary answer, isn’t much of an answer at all.

We've created a system that is a healthy and hygienic alternative to the unsanitary and dangerous coping methods that are often used by women in disadvantaged areas. A reusable product ensures a woman can consistently provide for herself regardless of her economic position. Although disposable products may be convenient, it is not an option for the majority of women in undeveloped areas. Sustainability, coupled with the concept of making the product for open market sales, increases the potentIal for economic development and independence. This is a solution to an ongoing challenge to millions of women around the world!

Our goal is to enlighten, to empower and to equip:
• ENLIGHTEN by bringing hope to women with the truth that their period is something they can manage rather than a crippling curse to be endured.
• EMPOWER women and girls to remain in school/at work during menstruation. (Currently, female students miss an estimated 20% of their academic learning, due to the lack of necessary supplies.)
• EQUIP and train women to sew their own product and then economically empower them through selling the product in the open market.

This is an equipping program that trains women to provide for themselves.  It's much more than menstrual pads. It's a step toward empowering a generation.

REUSABLE - SUSTAINABLE - ECONOMICAL - EARTH-FRIENDLY
IT JUST MAKES SENSE!
