About the organization

Since 1981, Promise for Haiti has existed as a stateside partner of Hospital Bienfaisance in Pignon, Haiti. Promise for Haiti was founded by Dr. Guy Theodore and serves the key role of procuring funds, supplies, medications, and volunteers to serve the mission and meet the many needs in Haiti. We facilitate short-term and longer term medical mission teams to travel to Pignon year-round for our programs. Hospital Bienfaisance is a 65 bed hospital with two OR rooms, a dental clinic, vision clinic, prosthetic limb clinic, cholera clinic, maternity waiting house, and outpatient clinic.
