World Medical Mission, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, places Christian physicians, dentists, and other medical professionals on short-term volunteer service assignments at mission hospitals and clinics in Africa, Asia, Oceania, Latin America, and the Middle East. The Post-Residency Program is a fully funded two-year program through World Medical Mission for Christian physicians and their families who have been called to medical missions. Immediately following your residency, we will place you at a mission hospital where you will serve within your specialty. We provide logistical and financial support and may also be able to help you find assistance for repaying student loans while you serve alongside career medical missionaries.
The Samaritan's Purse International Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) program is committed to meeting the critical needs of victims of war, poverty, famine, disease, and natural disaster. We stand ready to respond at a moment's notice whenever and wherever disaster strikes. The DART specializes in providing water, food, shelter, and medical care while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Children's Heart Project arranges life-saving operations for hundreds of children who live in countries where the required medical expertise and equipment are not available. Since 1997, Children's Heart Project has arranged lifesaving surgery for more than 1,400 children.
