Ywam Ships Kona has a heart to reach the remote and isolated islands in the Pacific. For them a ship is not a good idea, is the only option. 

Can you imagine living with chronic pain? toothache? or blind because of cataracts?

Jesus met people where they were at, He cared for their spiritual needs but also their physical needs. We want to reach them with God's practical love and tell them of a God that loves  them, sees them and hears their prayers. 

Over the years we have sent outreach teams to provide quality medical care to the people living in isolation. Many have never seen a dentist in their lives. We are looking for doctors, nurses, family doctors, ophthalmologists, dentists, dental assistants and general volunteers to join us. We run clinics on shore and on board, to provide medical, dental and eye care. Our teams do primary health care, health education and promotion, community development activities and community engagement to present the gospel through the Jesus film, Bible stories, prayer, testimonies, worship and kid's ministries. 

There is opportunity for everyone with a desire to serve! We also need help in the kitchen or hospitality team. If you are a videographer, photographer, electrician, marine engineer and deckhand; come on board! 

If you are considering long term missions, come join us, be part of our discipleship training school in Kona, Hawaii and start your journey with God! 

If you would like to come for an outreach, come for 2 weeks or up to 3 months.
